What a perfect way to spend to spend a Sunday, your own chef arriving to prepare a delicious meal and waiting staff to serve it to you.

Carolyn and her guests enjoyed the following canapes:

Watermelon with feta cheese and mint jelly
Duck breast with pot marinated cherry on malted crostini
Hummus and cucumber crostini
Parma ham with sun blush tomato, olive and red onion jam.

They then enjoyed a meal of:

Fillet of salmon baked with a fennel and orange salad
Roast joint of beef with horseradish and mustard
Potato salad with red onion, parsley and wholegrain mustard mayonnaise
Asparagus salad with rocket and hazelnuts
Vine tomato, red onion, basil and balsamic dressing
Beetroot with spring onion, and toasted pine nuts
Vegetable cous cous with fresh herbs

Followed by 3 delicious desserts:

Traditional summer pudding
Lemon tart
Chocolate roulade
All served with a whipped vanilla cream and raspberries
