We were delighted to make a return visit to Hughes Hall on Saturday for their May Ball.

120 guests sat down to a delicious 3 course meal all set out in a stunning marquee.

For starters they had a choice of arrancini with rocket salad or smoked pork brushetta on sourdough bread. For main course, Italian style moussaka or rack of lamb stuffed with fois gras with fondant potato and seasonal veg. – carrots with fennel seeds, truffle and mushroom butter, jus. And for dessert a fantastic Sacher cake served with whipped cream.
Later on in the evening the guests were really treated and were served oysters from an oyster bar and also had the choice to enjoy American style burgers served with all the accompaniments.

A perfect way to celebrate the end of term!
