Our brief: To provide a traditional menu with tasty ingredients that would really ‘wow’ employees. A special request was to have roast potatoes as this had never been possible at previous events due to the amount of guests with efficient and speedy service.
What we did: We designed a menu inviting the client to have a tasting of each dish across each course. The client was confident and happy that the chosen menu would exceed employees expectations. The event ran across two nights back to back with 682 guests on the first evening and 950 on the second. Our team of 75 staff worked together in harmony to provide a fast, efficient and professional service. Both services were complete within 1 hour 45 minutes meaning the client could focus on speeches and enjoying the party.
The result: We designed a bespoke menu to fit the clients requirements, offering three choices for each course tailored to work with all dietary requirements, delivering excellent food at an incredibly high standard of service and within a set budget.
Tom’s Kitchen are an absolute delight to work with, they are extremely reliable, food is amazingly fresh and seasonal and they offer that personal touch, I would certainly recommend them as they have helped with small and large food requirements – The team is amazing.

Our brief: To wow the corporate clients and surprise them with food and service to a standard they have never had at the event before.
What we did: We provided full event management, production, catering and bar services. Liaising with the client to create an exciting menu including tasting of various dishes to help them decide. The scope of the event encompassed constructing a kitchen inside the cathedral, liaison with marquee contractors, lighting engineers and electricians, provision of furniture, marquee extension, full bar and restaurant-style food service. We oversaw guests arrival and ensured they were in the right place at the right times throughout the day. We then dismantled and removed everything at the end of the day. The whole event was organised and produced whilst working around and respecting the Cathedral’s usual practices of prayers, services and evensong.
The result: The event was faultlessly executed and exceeded client expectations.
We’ve been extremely pleased with the service from Tom’s Kitchen. We could trust the team to pro-actively work with the venue and our other contractors to ensure everything went smoothly from start to finish. They’re extremely organised and can adapt to overcome any challenges as they arise. At the event they delivered an efficient, professional service to our guests who thoroughly enjoyed the food. As this is an annual black-tie event, the food plays a huge part in the wow-factor and Tom’s Kitchen can be counted on to create unique and tasty dishes.
