We were hired to provide catering for a Wedding in Gt Gransden on the 20th August 2011.
The menu we provided and feedback given from the Bride follow below.
The food was a 3 course plated meal for 117 guests.
Canapes: Served with Champagne
-Watermelon with feta cheese and mint jelly.
-Parma ham with red onion marmalade, sun blush tomato on a malted crouton.
-Smoked salmon with creme fraiche and caviar on a chive blini.
Main meal: with freshly baked bread and butter on the tables.
Starter:
-Buffalo mozzarella with vine tomatoes, red onion marmalade basil and pesto
dressing
Main course:
-Roast strip loin of beef served with roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding and
thyme gravy
-Selection of seasonal vegetables, horseradish and mustard on the tables.
-Vegetarian option.
-Pea risotto with pea shoots and tomato salsa
Dessert:
-Assiette of Chocolate tart, lemon mousse and fresh fruits of the forest
-Coffee and tea to with handmade chocolate truffles.
