A crisp, chilly day was the setting for Mat and Laura’s winter themed wedding.

Warm mince pies, warmed winter punch and a roaring fire was the perfect greeting for the guests as they arrived in from the cold after the church ceremony.

After warming up the guests were invited upstairs to the beautifully decorated ballroom to enjoy a delicious 3 course meal of:

Starter: Smoked salmon with capers, cornichons, rocket and tartare sauce

Main course: Roast leg of lamb with sweet potato fondant, creamed leeks and peas, glazed carrots and lamb jus

Dessert: A trio of banoffee pie, panacotta and rich chocolate brownie

The celebrations continued with a live band playing and more tasty food for the guests later in the evening to keep them dancing! A hog roast with fresh rolls, apple sauce, stuffing and cheese board was the perfect end to a lovely winter wedding!
